The following pages state Terms and Conditions of Use (‘Terms") under which you (“you”) may use the Website and Services.
In these Terms, references to “you” or “your” are references to you whether as a Learner or Visitor.
Your access to and use of the Owen Owen Languages UK site and its courses is subject exclusively to these Terms. You will not use Owen Owen Languages UK for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. By using Owen Owen Languages UK website and services you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms of Use we kindly ask you not to use our website and services.
We may modify these Terms at any time, without notice to you, by placing revised Terms on our site. Your use of our site constitutes your binding acceptance of these Terms, including any modifications we make.

“Booking Confirmation” – means the document which We provide to You on the acceptance of Your booking/enrolment
“We/Us/Our” – means Owen Owen Languages UK whose place of business and contact address is the same address as above;
“You/Your” -means an individual to whom We agree to provide any class, course or service or who just visits our website or social media pages
Using the Website - Learner Conduct
Your use of and access to this Website and its Online Content and Courses are subject to the following conditions and you agree that failure to comply with any one of these Conditions will constitute a breach of these Terms.
Use of the Website and access to the Online Content and Courses by anyone under the age of 18 is strictly prohibited unless under the guidance of an adult.
You agree to use the Website and access the Online Content and Courses only for lawful purposes and your use of the Website and Online Content and Courses is in no way unlawful or fraudulent, and does not have the intention or effect of damaging us, either financially or our reputation.

Severance

By buying a course or any of Owen Owen Languages UK services, you accept these terms and conditions.
As a part of the registration process we ask you to disclose to us information that we require in order to assess our obligations and to better understand your requirements (see our Privacy Policy).
We will only collect data from you for specific and specified purposes of organising language courses.
We will not use data for purposes other than that for which the data was collected, except as stated, or with prior consent.
We will seek to verify and/or update data periodically.
You are required to provide – and keep up-to-date your contact details. Any changes to such data as your current address, your phone number and your active email account must be notified to us as soon as possible.
Prices and Price Changes
We may alter our prices without prior notice, but if the price of any course or service increases between the time when you book it and the start date of the course or service, the price increase will not apply to you for the course or service starting on that date. If you extend or re-enrol, then the new prices will apply.
All prices of courses shown in the Price List are not subject to VAT.
Liability
We provide Services for domestic and private use (or purposes). We make no warranty or representation that the Services are fit for commercial, business or industrial purposes of any kind. By making your booking, you agree that you will not use the Services for such purposes. We will not be liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, interruption to business or for any loss of business opportunity.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to exclude or limit our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to exclude or limit our liability for failing to perform the Services with reasonable care and skill or in accordance with information provided by us about the Services or about us.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions seeks to exclude or limit Your legal rights as a consumer.
Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, internet service provider failure, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, riots and other civil unrest, fire, explosion, flood, storms, earthquakes, subsidence, acts of terrorism (threatened or actual), acts of war (declared, undeclared, threatened, actual or preparations for war), epidemics or pandemics; natural disasters, or any other event that is beyond our reasonable control.
If any event described above occurs which is likely to adversely affect our performance of any of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions:
– We will inform You as soon as is reasonably possible;
– Our obligations under these Terms and Conditions will be suspended and any time limits that we are bound by will be extended accordingly;
– We will inform you when the event outside our control is over and provide details of any new dates, times or availability of Services as necessary;
– If an event outside our control occurs and you wish to cancel the Contract, you may do so in accordance with your right to Cancel under Our Cancellation terms.
– If the event outside our control continues for more than 14 weeks, we will cancel the Contract in accordance with our right to cancel as stated in the Cancellation terms .

By using any of the communication methods available on the Website and/or the Online Content and Courses, you agree that:
Enrolment and Accounts
Any Visitor can view the Website, but in order to participate and take part in the Courses, you must enrol via the Website by providing a name, an email address and make payment as specified on the website for the course. You agree that you will never share your Learner Account access information with any third party for any reason.
In setting up your Learner Account, you may be prompted or required to enter additional information, including date of birth, location and any other information you consent to give that will help us to provide the Service you have requested.
You undertake that all information provided by you in relation to your Learner Account Course Enrolment is and will continue to be accurate, current and complete at all times and that you will maintain and update your information to keep it accurate, current and complete. It is your responsibility to keep your Account details safe.
By enrolling online with Owen Owen Languages UK via its website www.englishonline.uk.com, you agree (in addition to the Acceptable Conditions of Use above) that you will not let anyone else use your Learner Account and Access to Services;
we may prohibit your access or revoke your access temporarily or stop your participation in the Online Content and Courses where your behaviour is not in accordance with current UK Laws governing acceptable and reasonable behaviour in online learning environments.
We reserve the right to cancel, interrupt or reschedule any Online Content and Courses or modify, revise, or alter its content, as well as the associated values, assignments, tests, quizzes, exams, projects and other evaluations of progress without cause or notice to you.

It is our policy that any content included on the Website or within the Online Content and Courses that infringes, or is likely to infringe, the intellectual property rights of any third party will be removed from the Website as soon as is reasonably possible after we are made aware of such infringement or potential infringement.

if it is necessary to prevent or stop any harm or damage to us, other Learners of the Website or the general public.
Changes to the Website and these Terms
We may update or amend these Terms (as well as our Policies or any other guidance we issue) from time to time to comply with law or to meet our changing business requirements. When we update our Terms or Policies, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. Any updates or amendments will be posted on the Website and you are advised to check this page every time you use the Website.
For any operational, regulatory, legal or other reason, we reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue all of the Online Content and Courses with or without notice to you and we will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modifications, suspension or termination. PAYMENTS
Purchasing Courses
When using the Website you may choose to purchase:
enrolment on a Course which requires a one-off upfront fee to be paid before you can gain access to online courses/classes (“Paid Upfront Courses”); or
You agree to pay the amount specified on the course/class description page of the Website. All prices listed are not subject to VAT.
You understand that if you purchase classes you can pay either using Pay Pal or by bank transfer.
We reserve the right to vary any fees for our courses and access to them in advance of any purchase at our sole discretion. Any variation or amendment will be effective immediately upon posting on our Website.
You agree that in the event we are unable to collect any fees for Subscription Access owed to us, we may take other steps that we deem necessary to recover any fee owed by you to us. We reserve the right to suspend your account or any of our services until we receive payment of all fees due to us.
After you have signed up for a course we reserve the right to vary any recurring course fees from time to time and will notify you of any change to the course fee. Fee changes will take effect at the start of the next payment period following the date of the price change. If you do not agree with a price change you have the right to reject the change by unsubscribing from the course prior to the change taking effect.
HOW TO PAY FOR THE COURSE
You can pay online at the time of booking using Pay Pal or Bank Transfer . See Payment page.
You will need to confirm how you will be paying your fees before you register for the course.
Fees for each course are listed with the information about the course. If your 100% online course fee can be paid month by month, the fee payments break-down is as follows:
Cancellations and Refund Policy
We will calculate whether you are eligible for a refund. We will issue refunds within 28 working days of the cancellation by the method used to pay for your course. This refund policy applies to all payment methods.
We will not issue refunds for non-attendance, partial attendance, or any missed sessions of a multi-session course.
In certain circumstances Cancellation and Refunds may be available for Paid Upfront Courses purchased by you, further details of which are available in the Cancellation and Refund Section of these Terms/this Policy
You will have the right to cancel your order during the cooling off period provided for certain purchases under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 Privacy Policy
Payment is required by the cut-off date (as advised in the course description and email). Owen Owen Languages UK will issue a refund if a cancellation is received by the cut-off date. After the cut-off date, refunds cannot be made. We will not issue refunds for non-attendance, partial attendance or late cancellations.
Cancellation of a Course by the Course Provider
Unforeseen circumstances may require Owen Owen Languages UK to cancel a course. In such cases, we will give as much notice as possible and endeavour to organise another course date. We will issue refunds if we cannot arrange a new course date, or if the new date is inconvenient for you. However, we will not compensate for any extra costs incurred.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Under UK law, you may have the right to cancel or request a refund under certain circumstances, in accordance with this policy.

Missed Sessions
For multi-session courses, you must attend all sessions. We cannot provide recordings of a course if you miss a session.
Certification
Owen Owen does not issue any certificates upon completion of its courses. We DO, however, prepare students for international examinations if they wish to gain an internationally-recognised English Language Certificate. They will be awarded certification from the relevant assessment body on passing the examination they have been preparing for.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to resolve any such dispute arising between you and us (whether contractual or non-contractual) in connection with your access and use of the Website, including as to the validity of these Terms or policy issued by us . For any dispute between you and us, you agree that you will first attempt to resolve this with us informally. In the unlikely event that we are unable to resolve the dispute in this manner within 28 days of the dispute being notified in writing, we both agree that any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this agreement must be resolved by a court located in England.
Owen Owen Languages UK makes no claims or representations that the Website may be lawfully viewed or accessed outside of the United Kingdom. Access to Owen Owen Languages UK may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access Owen Owen Languages UK you are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
